Purple was a common school color in the 1950s, far more than it is now. The Burgundy and Purple Letterman Jacket goes back to that: burgundy melton wool body, purple genuine cowhide leather sleeves, set-in shoulders and a snap front cut on the old pattern. Nothing about it has been modernized except the stitching.

Two deep colors that belong to the same era. It is a rarer choice than red and white, and it looks a good deal older than the year you bought it.

All of our jackets feature a unisex athletic fit, designed to suit both men and women. TALL sizes offer an additional 1.5” (4cm) in sleeve and body length, while XTALL sizes provide an extra 3” (8cm) in both sleeve and body length.
