The pattern behind this jacket has not changed much since the 1950s, and neither has the reason it works. A kelly green melton wool body, purple cowhide leather sleeves set in at the shoulder, and knit trims striped in both colors give the Kelly Green and Purple Letterman Jacket the proportions of an original. Only the stitching is current.

Purple was never a common school color, which is why this pairing feels like something pulled out of a box rather than a reissue. It ages the way the old ones did.

All of our jackets feature a unisex athletic fit, designed to suit both men and women. TALL sizes offer an additional 1.5” (4cm) in sleeve and body length, while XTALL sizes provide an extra 3” (8cm) in both sleeve and body length.
