There is a late-eighties feel to mauve that keeps coming back around. Mauve melton wool forms the body of the Mauve and Cream Varsity Jacket, cream cowhide leather forms the sleeves, and the striped knit trims finish it in a way that feels borrowed from an old team photograph. The mauve is muted, closer to old plaster than purple. It suits a looser fit.
