The pattern dates to American high school fields in the 1950s, when a wool body and leather sleeves were team issue rather than fashion. The Turquoise and White Varsity Jacket keeps that shape and picks a brighter period shade for it: a turquoise melton wool body with white cowhide leather sleeves, a snap front, and knitted trims striped in both colors. Nothing has been modernized.

Turquoise and white was a genuine mid-century combination, not a revival invention, which is why it settles so easily on this silhouette. Current stitching just makes it last longer than the originals did.

All of our jackets feature a unisex athletic fit, designed to suit both men and women. TALL sizes offer an additional 1.5” (4cm) in sleeve and body length, while XTALL sizes provide an extra 3” (8cm) in both sleeve and body length.
